Great controller, works wonders on those PC games (I'm looking at YOU Assassins Creed) that have poor KB/M controls... just don't buy from Amazon. It didn't even ship till a week after I purchased them, then took over a week from then to arrive... odd.

Started playing some Valve games and wasn't too coordinated with keyboard and a mouse. I've been playing xbox/360 for a while so I might as well use this for the windows games. The controller came with the latest driver cd and worked flawlessly with my game (TF2). It's a wired controller btw, and I highly recommend it.

After contacting Amazon.com, they apologized, which doesn't fix the fact that this Xbox360 system is not the newest one with lower power usage and the updated chipset. Amazon.com offered a refund as they do not have any newer version available.

My console and game collection was stolen in a home invasion, so I had to look at the current XBox 360 offering so I could replace my 360 Elite.



I was very disappointed with the offerings. It's an XBOX 360 and therefore it lets you play your games, but this far into the product cycle, I'd expect so much more. However, if you want a large drive and HDMI it's the only choice you really have.



Here are a list of the problems I encountered, most due to the product itself:

I'm not simply giving the Elite console a low rating because of the fact that most of them include the Falcon chipset, but rather since it is overpriced for what you are getting. Considering that the Premium comes with a hefty 60GB hard drive and is $100 cheaper, a 120GB hard drive is really unnecessary. I'm sure some people may disagree and claim that their demos, music, videos, pictures, etc. consume up to one-hundred gigabytes of space, but the large hard drive is the only reason this package......



I bought it thinking about the problem of heating and it`s the same, I played only on weekends and the console is dead now, and all my friends who bought it are also so mad because of this,, Microsoft Xbox 360 is disposable.. I will buy a PS3 or a nintendo Wii

I received my 'refurbished' wireless controller sooner than the estimated delivery date. That reason alone is why I buy through Amazon. I sincerely do not believe that this product was refurbished. It is 100% flawless and had all of the stickers that normally come with a brand new controller. Either way, the product works flawlessly and was bought at a great price. This is the default Xbox 360 wireless controller with some awesome Halo 3 artwork slapped on.



This is an excellent edition to any Halo 3 fan's collection, however, one must note that the controller itself is more of a "show-off" item rather than an actual game playing one.



The top plate of the controller has a smooth, glossy finish with the back side being of a normal matte finish, like the regular controller. The problem I have with the controller is that the glossy finish......



Amazon had the black XBox 360 controller for a good price, cheaper than any other color and it matched my living room decor. It is the actual Microsoft brand and works perfectly. I would recommend buying this controller and buying it from Amazon.

Whatever you do, don't drop this thing. Its awesome playing without a wire, but once you drop it you may be annoyed with the aftermath. A button becomes stuck, your player in the game moves on its own, and other things that could happen after it has been dropped. So just a warning: be extremely careful and don't endure the amount of time I have had with a semi broken controller. Mine still work, just not the way it should.

The console works great. There are plenty of games out there for it. One of the only problems is how loud the fan is but since they have to cool down such a powerful machine it is acceptable. You can also use it for folding@home which is great. I bought the PS3 on the release date and it has worked perfectly ever since. Powerful processor and Blu-ray capabilities are great. I'm glad I stuck with Sony as 2009 and 2010 will introduce several great PS3 exclusive titles.

I recently purchase the ps3 and it is so powerful. I like the design and color of the ps3. It's like a computer or a laptop built for gaming and other fun stuff. It is kind of big and little heavy because it is so packed and it has the built in ac adapter, which makes it neat unlike the big chuck on the xbox 360. I won't lie. I wanted a PS3 for a long time but the original price for it was rediculous to me. $600 for a system that had no great games.



Time went by. The price dropped and more games came out. I saved my money and finally got one.



It was something different to turn it on. I'm used to the old systems where you just put in a game and turned it on. Not anymore. You turn it on and you have a menu to go through showing your options of what you can do. Audio, movies, games, ......



I saved up for a while, 10 months, and bought the 80 gb MGS4 system when it was more readily available. This system replaced my broken dvd player as well as being a game console.

I bought this console as part of Amazon's promotion where you put in $[...] in trade credit and get an extra $[...] toward a console purchase. You don't have to be any computer smart at all. :-P I plugged it in turned on the xbox wireless controller and started the PC game and started playing. Awesome!!!

This is a very handy device to have if you're making the switch (or just want to use your controller on your PC) from Xbox 360 to PC, but still want to retain your controller skill. The adapter installs quickly and works on everything stated AND on Windows 7 (just directs you to the download page and you're good to go).



I highly recommend this adapter, very cool.

This product only works on USB 2.0 (the high powered ones) and even then only if you unplug almost every single unnecessary USB device. This thing devours power, apparently, since it supports 4 controller support and even the headset plugins. The sad part is that it does not have a configuration utility to play non-Games for Windows games--as well the documentation that comes with it so barebones as to render it useless.



I called Microsoft to see if they could help me with it and they......



What more can I say? It works on with all windows operating systems from Windows XP to the Windows 7 Beta & RC. A note on Windows 7 compatibility is that you have to download the drivers; they are not present on the disk. In fact, the included disk should direct the user towards the correct page to download the drivers. I am assuming it is the same with Vista, but I was unable to test that.

This works very well with my 360 wireless controller. The initial pairing went w/o any issues and now it connects within 1 sec of pressing on the middle X button on the joypad.

Haven't experienced any of the interference issues others mentioned and I use it next to my Razer Mamba wireless mouse, my wireless router and cell phone. I plugged the receiver straight into a USB 2.0 port directly in the back of my computer and there are no USB power issues.
